Chapter 5

Anthony had left Maia’s house and gone to his own swanky townhome. He looked around his ultra-modern domain and grinned. His hard work had paid off in that he could now live in the manner that he wanted. He enjoyed the perks that his career had brought. This townhome was one of them. He had been awarded the lavish gift as a bonus for his work on a special project for an international magazine. The house was his free and clear. But he had been very selective as to whom he brought to it. His male buddy’s had been there, of course. But he had not shared it with a woman. It was definitely not the bachelor pad in that sense. He had not wanted to show to just any woman. He’d only wanted to reveal it to that special woman who had claimed his heart. And he thought that he had found her at last. Maia had garnered his heart and he didn’t want her to let it go. She was the part of his life that he’d been missing. He had finally found the woman of his imaginings and he’d be damned if he would lose her. Somehow, he would make her see that they belonged together. It had become his mission.

He went into his bathroom and stripped off his clothes. He looked at his wounds in the mirror. They were almost completely healed. He certainly could shower without fear of them re-opening. He turned on the water in his huge multi- head shower and stepped inside. The warm water felt good on his powerful, toned body. The water rippled down his wet torso as he lathered up. He wished Maia were there with him. They would have an amazing shower together. He thought about the desirous, sexual things he wanted to do to her and how she would respond. He saw her sliding her slender brown legs around his waist and he plunged into her. Thrusting over and over again until he brought them to the pinnacle of satisfaction. Damn, he wanted her.

He looked down at himself and saw his erection. He laughed out loud. Just the thought of her could that to him. Never had a woman been able to arouse him the way that she could. She could inadvertently brush her fingers against his when giving him a drink and he would want to throw her on the floor and devour her. He was finding it hard to maintain control when he was around her; but he didn’t want to be anywhere else than where she was. He had found her leaving painstakingly hard to handle. He knew it was for the best. She had to at least try to divert the media’s attention. But he had not wanted her to go.

He turned in the shower to allow the water to rinse him, and then laid his forehead against the wall to let the water rain over him. He was breathing heavily as his enflamed penis had not deflated.
